Hi,

I was a full time student and recently just graduated from the university in June 2017. I applied for the PGWP but got rejected because apparently I was a part time student through out my collage years (?) I took 2 courses (10 hours per week for each course) in two summers and I was definitely a full time students through out my 5 years of university.

Is there any way I can fight for it? It says I only have 90 days before I have to leave Canada, I don't know what to do right now...please kindly advice.

Thank you!

So you had 2 courses at 10 hours per week for 2 courses. That only adds up to 20 hours a week. I don't think that is considered full time. I may be wrong, but I done a course that was over 30 hours a week. That is full time

If I understand correctly, you were full time during the school year - and took courses part time during scheduled breaks. If that's correct - then you should have been issued a PGWP and it sounds like a mistake was made. I would send a case specific inquiry to explain this and ask for reconsideration. I would personally also seek out the assistance of an immigration lawyer - they may have other suggestions.

It was only the summer course, but I was a full time student (at least 3 courses per sem) for Fall/Winter term for whole 5 years.
