Hello,

Do I need visa even if I have Post graduate work permit in Canada? I mean should I extend the date written in passport even after having post-graduate work permit??

Did you require a TRV to enter Canada? If so, is that the date you are referring to?

You can maintain your status in Canada with your PGWP, but you will need a TRV to enter/re-enter Canada if you leave.

I'm on my PGWP and booked tickets to visit my home country, where I plan to stay for 1.5 months.

Recently I came to know that, If I stay outside of canada for more than one month then one-year work experience will be counted as "zero". I have 6 or 7 months of work experience so far.

Could anyone of you please assure the authenticity of the information?

No not true . You can still come back and continue work for another 5-6 months and make one year experience.
