Contacting MP sure works, let's say the processing time has been 90 days but it's been 5 months and no answer, for sure MPs inquiry will help a bit but not that much.

If your app is on hold or a complex case then it's hard, IRCC will take their sweet time.

May I know when you applied for PGWP?

Also what's your postal code so I can guide you on how to reach out to MP.

I applied on Sep 03, 2021. I have urgent case to need to get pgwp. Mostly it is about fianial situation, my dad is in hospital in my hometown, my mom is just stay home mom and can't support me financially anymore. I Got the job starting in Jan and need to send the employer PGWP towers and earn money to support my family at the moment .

Feel sorry for your situation, you can definitely approach your MP and explain this situation, IRCC may reply back with "you can still work on maintained status"

What's your postal code so I can find your local MP and share the contact details.

Email your MP. Explain your situation. Ask them for a follow up.

I applied for the restoration with pgwp. my study permit was expired 1 month earlier thinly graduation and I didn't know that I need to apply for extension . Thanks

Contact your MP.
I did 2 days ago , my MP sent me the message "
what our office can do at this time is reach out to IRCC to get an update on what can be done as next steps.
We will let you know when we hear from IRCC"
and no updates until now.
seems like IRCC , I filled out the webform, they told me forwarded message to the responsible office and no responses after 1 month
I just hope my MP can give me a hand

MPs can't really force them to approve the application. That being said, restorations take time since it's a double processes as compared to a straight out PGWP approval.

Let's hope the MP's inquiry puts some pressure.

What I will also suggest you to do, is create an LOE, write your situation, save as PDF, webform it to your application saying " Please attach this to my file".
Webforms with attachments are usually sent to an officer.
