I reapplied July 4, and my old WP was until July 30. So I did not lose my status.
Same documents (letter from employer (position, salary, duties+NOC), 2 paystubs (and I send one more paystub with Web Form), job contract, spouse PGWP, and kid SP), only add additional information in the main form about refusal + letter of explanation.
Alright, my own case thet wrote in the refusal letter that her temporary residence expires immediately even though it expires in july of 2019, so I’m trying to restore status. Additionally does the employer write the NOC caregory? Or how do you proof the NOC category?

Yes, employer wrote NOC category in the letter.
I think the officer gave me this one extra month so I can re-apply. In the first application, I have all the information for eligibility, except duties in the job offer. Maybe second reason - my kid has approved SP.

Hey guys, I would like to update with you guys that I went flagpoling today and I managed to get my PGWP!! I really did not expect that. I was desperate and hopeless at first lol. So as I mentioned before, I applied online on Aug 18th, and I got a job offer last week. I went to Queenston Lewiston Bridge. In fact I have passed the 90-day window already even with my graduate certificate (June 11, 2018), but the officer thought that I was still in 90 days so she issued me one. I also explained that I have applied online but I don't want to miss the job offer so I don't mind paying twice. She just checked if I have ever studied part-time in the past four years (I only studied part-time in the last semester and had two co-op work term).
Here I am happy to answer questions and I hope you guys receive good news soon!!
Now I do have my work permit but the visa will expire very soon. Any idea how can we extend the visa? Should I apply for the work permit again online and explain to them that I already have the work permit paper but I need to extend the visa based on the work permit I have?

Friends
I am on PGWP 1 year visa and want to invite my family Spouse on Open Work Permit (I have Spouse + 2 kids), so can any body guide me here what should I write in COVERING LETTER with convincing points that They will leave Canada after work permit expires.

Any convincing points or idea for letter?

Any one here who has gone through same situation?

By the way I am already working in a Canadian Engineering Company NOC B

your help is highly appreciated.

You spouse qualifies, just write to them as to why you cannot stay much longer without your family, it has to be something very personal, but most importantly there should be compelling reason in that letter as to why you all will be leaving Canada at the end of your pgwp, proof of funds to cover living cost is also very important. But my advice to you, just apply for PR if you qualify and add them to your application, when i was a student my spouse joined me on owp and it took 6 months for approval, you might as well wait 6 months for a PR status

My pgwp was approved today.
Online application june 15
Review Sept 23
Approved sept 24.
Unfortunately the application to extend my spouse’s work permit was refused.
Lesson learntj that maybe useful for future applicants with spouses, do not apply to extend their owp if you do not have a job in the required NOC or if they stil have enough time left on the OWP. For my case my spouse’s owp was still valid till 2019 July, and at the time of trying to extend I wasn’t working in required NOC. Now we have to reapply to restore status for her..

Applied June 21 with my spouse.
Sept 23rd - spouse’s application was refused.
Sept 24th - my application was approved.

He is planning to re-apply online even though only 5 days left before the expiration of his temporary residence status.

The reasons for his refusal were that I didn’t prove I had my Work Permit (we applied together and I didn’t have that), his job didn’t have LMIA , and I didn’t show I worked in category’s 0, A, B.

The thing is that I don’t have my paper copy of PGWP yet, and his visa expires in 4 days. We just don’t have enough time.
