Just got the work permit for 3 years. All the best everyone.
Applied on 29th June.
Received 22nd August

This seems too high risk, get your 1 year experience then you can study more later.
Thanks. But I did not understand that is it possible or not? even if I work one year and then start my study, is it possible I use the rest of my work permit after graduation or not?

Hi guys,

I submitted my PGWP last June 30 but I haven't heard from them yet. Anyone who's on the same page?

I've applied on June 24th, still no update.
When I called them (this Monday), I have been told to wait up to 10 more days, if no update then I can call them back.

Yes I did... I called the hotline to withdraw my online application and they did... they will automatically refund my payment online.
please tell me, how long did it take? I called the hotline to withdraw my online application July 4, but it still has status - SUBMITTED.

On the website, it now says that they are working on applications received on June 21.
Thank you for sharing that!

"Working on applications received on June 21, 2018."
"Last update: August 12, 2018"

So, theoretically, if it was "last update August 19" it should be "applications received on June 28".

Yo
Hello All,
I got my PGWP up to end of my passport which is almost 1.5 year. However, I changed my mind and I am going to continue my study instead of working. My question is that as I still have 1.5 year for my work permit when I renew my passport, I was wondering is it possible I use it after graduation?( I am saying instead sending request to renew my work permit for the second half of it, I hold it until I graduate and then I use it .)
Thanks
you cannot study once you recieve your work permit...And if you get a new study permit you can’t apply for PGWP again

Applied- 21 june
Review of eligibility- 22 August (Evening)
Approval- 23 August ( around 1:30 pm)

its for my brother. No email or messages received though, it shows for 3 Years.

all the best to all.......

Hi, Just wanted to share my experience... I applied for a PGWP online July 27, 2018... since then until August 14, 2018, no update. I decided to go to the border instead (North Dakota Border), I was able to get a PGWP after 2hours.
Hi would you mind sharing a document checklist that you brought to the border? I'm doing the same thing next week and I really want to bring all the documents needed. Your answer would be a great help for me.

Edit: I know there's a document checklist on cic website, but specifically what the exact documents did the Canadian official at the border ask you to provide?
