Submitted on 30th April, long time to go but want it ASAP cuz some employers don't hire without a valid work permit in hand

I submitted my application on March 10. I still do not have any response from CIC. I applied together with my partner. I would like to know if take more time than usual when you apply together. Do you guys know anything about this?

I called CIC today and they say they are still working on cases on March 12 and they haven’t started to process my case yet. I think you can call them and ask about your case because apparently yours should have been processed.

Yes you can speak to the agents, but you have to wait for a long time like 40 min. I have no choice but to have a try asking about my case.

I applied for my PGWP on 13th of March, and havnt heard back anything, I have my ticket booked to India for 13th of march, do you guys think i will be able to apply for TRV (including, sending the passport via mail ) and get done before my travelling date ?
I am really worried..

I just applied today actually, May 10, 2018
Confired May 10th as well

it says 45 days processing time, I assume that was just business days, I would expect mine on June 13th.

Has anyone tried going to the border to get the PGWP? Any tips?
I need my work permit asap and was hoping to get it there.
