Good morning guys!

applied on 25th January
Approved on 8th July

did not get any emails regarding eligibility or approval, I opened my portal and got to know about approval.

I am following this group since last 6 months and it has helped me a lot to be positive. I really really hope you guys will get yours very soon. Don't be panic guys. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I have been following this forum for a while and grateful for what everyone has posted here for the past 6 months! It’s finally my turn to share the good news on my PGWP.
Application submitted: January 25, 2022
Eligibility review: July 7, 2022
Approval: July 8, 2022
3 years PGWP, 2 years MSc program

The passport I used to apply expires in November 2022. Extended my passport and sent a WebForm of my new passport through the IRCC website and they used my new passport for the approval.

Hey guys, I just got an update today, so I just wanted to share my timeline here; also, I have some questions.
4Year University program but graduated in 3.5 years
Applied: Jan31
Review: Jul 7
Approved: Jul 8
1 Year PGWP

So as you guys can see, I did get the permit, but it's only 1-year length... WTH?
My passport expires in 2027, so that is not the issue, I have been full-time for the entire year.
Does anyone have a clue why I got only 1-year pgwp? Or is there any way I can raise a webform and get more extensions?

You should raise a web form for reconsideration. There must've been a mistake.

I am so tired of this.
They troll with the processing time, and now troll by giving only a 1-year permit?
Which employer is going to be ok with hiring an employee who is going to have to leave in 1 year...
Anyway, do you, by chance, have any idea which category I should use for the reconsideration webform?

It should be Temp Residence (Applied Online). You can have better luck contacting IRCC by phone and asking an agent directly.
