I'm not sure how the communication between applicants, and the Ontario PNP office works, but when my wife's application was taking longer than the expected processing times (3 months) We emailed the BC-PNP office and they got back to us with an update staying at what stage of the process the officer was. Maybe try sending them an email asking about the delay in processing.

Hi Angie,
could you please share your spouse's OINP timeline?
Thanks
My husband got an invitation to apply on February 9, 2022 and we submitted his application on February 19,2022. We were not requested any other additional info, nor do we have an update yet, unfortunately. Do you have a similar situation as well?

Applied January 21
Eligibility started: June 27
Approved: June 27
I applied online for extension because of passport expiration. I only got 8 months on my first PGWP, and I applied for the remaining months. I got the additionally 28 months. (2 years and 4 months).
Also applied for inland spouse owp and my son visitor record. All approved. Good luck guys!

May I ask how you received the work permit if you did not maintain full time?
I maintained full time status but i don’t know why they gave me refusal. I had to do 2 co-op to complete my study, but because of covid i was just able to do 1 co-op term and for second term I took 4month break. Maybe that was reason for my refusal.

I just got approved. Was expecting 3 years. IRCC is completely random, no process, nothing standard.

lol, you were saying that you waited for 165 days and nothing, then an hour later, approved! Congrats!

I'm on 164 days (applied Jan 14th).

When did your eligibility begin?

Wow, it's really taking that long for approvals nowadays. Did anyone have a harder time getting a job with implied status?
Applied in May so still a long way to go, hoping it won't interefere with my job hunt more than being on a permit already does hah.

It really depends in the industry you want to get in, and who does your interview. I find being interviewed by recent immigrants helps because they make an effort to understand our situation.

For me was the other way around. As a student working part-time closed lots of doors. Once I applied, being full-time (due to the implied status) was a lot easier...

My husband is filling out the EoI forms right now. We were just trying to have an idea of how long all this process could be. He is also aiming in-demand skills stream.
I've been searching for in-demand stream timeline but it is really hard to find.
Thanks for sharing! :)

It seems that the size of the company also matters. Employers from a small company might completely lose interest in the prospective employee's profile when the implied status is mentioned. They don't care about supporting documents at all.
