I have a doubt, The letter they provide for implied status just after submitting the PGWP application allows you to stay in Canada right? even after your study permit is expired?
But it does not allow to work ?

Please answer, I will really appreciate it, I am really confused :)

Yes until they make a decision on your application. I'm currently working fulltime right now after receiving a letter that states "This confirms that your application has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on __________________(yyyy/mm/dd).
Please attach this letter to your present Study permit Number as proof that you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restriction on hours until __________________ or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first. This period of work is authorized as per subsection 186(w) of the Immgration and Refugees Protectioni Regulatioins."

I have a concern though. I had included my medical test in my application, but under "Review of medical results", I do not see "passed". Has anyone had the same problem before?

By the way, I'm just curious. What courses did you study? Is it two certificates combined or 2 year diploma to get 3 years valid of work permit?

I took 9 credits for those semester as i saw in a gouvernment website that we should take 9 credits minimum.... Unfortunetly realised later that it depends of the university, thats why i didnt include any explanation on my first letter.

It totaly depends on your university and their policy. What our university did, they gave us a letter stating our status for each semester. I think it's called enrollement letter. You can ask from office of registration for it. Then, there is no confusion.

Check IRCC website. I think I saw on website you are eligible for 3 years. But I am not 100% sure.

I am an early childhood educator, and if I don't do my medical tests, I am not allowed to work with children. Some permits have a condition which does not allow you work in childcare, health care, etc. Usually, if you do your medical tests, they won't put that condition on your permit. But, last time although I had my medical test done, they made a mistake and put that condition on my study permit. That is why I need to wait till I receive the hard copy to make sure everything is ok before I apply for jobs.

thank you. I also started working. I submitted my application on 10th September after my passport renewal.
