I applied on 18th January but still no response. Had one part-time semester in summer 2020 which wasn’t last but was eligible due to COVID-19 as mentioned on the canada.ca.

Did you also apply thru the new policy?
Any updates with the eligibility?

i also applied on 28, still waiting?
Do you know anyone who got it approved yet?

Yes, I also applied under new public policy on 27th of January. And there is also an update on the site that they will refund our open work permit fee of 100$ after once the decision is made on the application.

Haven't got any approvals yet. But as I said before in the comments, they will start reviewing the new policy applications later this week or may be next week. But I'm not sure when they will start processing ours.
