Thank you. I applied for PGWPCongrats!
did you apply for PGWP or OWP extension?
I guess so. Thank you. Now I have to apply for my dependents after I receive my physical copy.Congrats, finally !
It should've been approved a few days earlier, but I guess the withdrawal of the early app delayed it.
I think, I am in the same situation. I applied for my pgwp along with my kids and husband on 7 June. My husband lives in India and I live in Canada with my kids but we applied all together as of ‘inside Canada’. I got approval for me and my kids’s application on 2 November a long wait for five months but have not heard anything about my husband’s application. It is still showing in process. We raised a webform and also received a reply right after a month stating that we are trying our best. It’s been 8 months now and still waiting. I don’t understand that should I withdraw his application and apply for open work permit or wait. Please share if someone is in same boat. All the best.Yes especially when I saw visitor record is 200 days.
But guess what I got an email a few moments ago of a new message in my account. When I signed in, a letter of withdrawal has been attached to the one I applied with my dependents on the 20th and later withdrew. The new application I made alone is now showing we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements but surprisingly my dependents application is also showing the same review of eligibility and it was not withdrawn.
When I sent the withdrawal request through webform and got a response through email. I was told the V.O makes the final decision on the withdrawal. The reason I gave for the withdrawal is due to ''the difference in processing times'' of work permits and visitor records. Hopefully they intend to give all of us at once.
At least your permit was approved according to your processing time and not his own. You have already waited this long, maybe just stick it out.I think, I am in the same situation. Did you get submission confirmation yet or not?I applied on 1st Feb with my un-official transcript and submitted a web form few days after for my official transcript. Will it delay my processing time?
Yes I got the submission confirmation for the application but not for the webform yet.Did you get submission confirmation yet or not?
I have also uploaded my official transcripts through web form. No update yet. It’s been 12 daysYes I got the submission confirmation for the application but not for the webform yet.
Wow congrats now I am thinking I should have not submitted web form for my official transcript, unofficial should have been fine.Hi guys, this forum has helped me a lot and I frequently checked this for any updates on PGWP processing time. Just want to share my timeline.
Inland Toronto, with an unofficial transcript, straight case, one part-time term but is the last term, so no LOE.
Applied Jan 26. Approved on Feb 12 for 3 years, but the email of "application status changed" sent me Feb 13. My friends applied the same day with me got approval one day earlier, I was nervous at the time. But everything went well. Good luck on everyone!
Yep, per IRCC official website, they clearly states that a transcript printed from your school’s website is okay. I suppose you should have kept that one. But anyways, I think the delay won’t be the end of the world. You should be fine in one or two weeks.Wow congrats now I am thinking I should have not submitted web form for my official transcript, unofficial should have been fine.
Do they process the applications on first come first serve or randomly. I applied on January 8.
