Well I hope not. cuz I have my hopes up already. If they need extra hands, I can volunteer. Lol
You applied Jan 20 right? so it's been like 15 days? I noticed from the other posts the processing time was like 11,12,13 days (getting slightly longer with each post).. also don't forget all the fall 2020 graduates are now applying in higher volumes because they're receiving transcripts and completion letters. Hope you hear back soon

I applied PGWP on 4th January, 2021 but so far only UCI has been updated. I got the biometric fees back on 21st January, 2021 but no update on application. My other friends who applied for PGWP much later most of them got in 10-15 days. Any idea what must have happened to my application?

Waiting since September its been more then 120 days even review of eligibility has not started.... they have a huge backlog of files before October the issue was just published on cbc news a week ago...
For PGWP a news article?
Link if you don't mind sharing.

Also at this point I'd order GCMS notes since that's one way to find out what's happening to your file.

I tried analyzing it the other day but there seems to be no organized method in which applications are processed. I think it's a thing of luck right now.

Okay, well what's important is you can work. You can send potential employers this link if they're giving you trouble about starting and for your information in the meantime so that you don't feel stressed.

Thank you. I am already working. I am anxious because my job is a qualifying NOC, and It would be great to have the permit as quickly as possible so my work experience can start counting towards CEC.

Your experience starts to count from the date you applied! :)

See tweet here:
and other thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/does-work-experience-gained-while-waiting-for-pgwp-count-for-cec.387011/

As long as you applied for PGWP within 90 days of program completion, you were authorized to work off campus, and your study permit is still valid when you applied, then the work is authorized and counts towards CEC. Just clarify this when you apply for the PR.
