Just a quick question can i apply for TRV, by the letter to be uploaded in the portal and how long does it takes to get TRV
If you mean by the 'In Canada Approval Letter' which you receive online after your application's approval, then yes. In such a case you don't need to wait for the receipt of your actual permit. Simply upload your approval letter when you apply for the TRV.

Hi I need help on the request

I had applied for my student permit and got it approved last year and i applied my TRV and got TRV as a visitor valid V-1 from (01/Dec/2021 to 25/September/2023)

Now I completd my graduation and got my work permit letter
Should I have to apply for new TRV or still the VISITOR VISA TRV I have on passport is valid.
Please help on the query

Thank you

Applied: October 12th, 2021
Eligibility review: Feb 12th 2022
Approved: Mar 17th, 2022
Inland from Quebec

I have been extremely anxious over the past few months. It has been 156 days since I applied and more than one month since the eligibility review started. My processing timeframe is, in many senses, "abnormal"

So I want to tell everyone here who is waiting: don't worry about the abnormal processing time. It will be fine!

Best of luck everyone!

I am in the same boat my friend. I have applied on Oct21 and still nothing happening, my eligibility is still under processing. My processing time frame supposed to be by Feb18th. I am feeling very anxious and nervous.

No you dont have till TRV is valid. Everyone get visitor TRV, its the permit that matters, which states what you can do while inside canada

What does continuous study of 1 year mean?
So you did a 1 year course/program and they gave you 3 years of PGWP?
Continuous study without break of 1 year and more is eligible for 3 year PGWP, it depends in visa officer to give. But mostly they give 3 years.
I do not have any summer or winter break
