Post graduate Work permit - Plzzz help- urgent!!!

Hello, I need to be more clear on some issues before applying.

1) I already have a 4 yrs Bachelor degree from my home country. Now I want to apply for a 1 yr bachelor in Education course in Ontario. May i receive a 1 year work permit under post-graduate work permit after completion ???

2) What if i want to get a Masters program after bachelor and like to extend my study permit rather applying for work permit, am I allowed??? If yes- and if i receive study permit for 1 more year, and then apply for work permit under post-graduate work permit- what will happen? duration of work permit??

3) I am confused - some said Masters and PHD students doesn't need job letter for work permit? So if I complete a Bachelor degree or diploma, I need a job letter first to apply for work permit under post-graduate work permit????

Plz help and make me more clear?????

1. yes, you may.
2. 1 year. CIC does not summarize.
3. After graduation (any program) you will get OPEN work permit. That means first- WP, then - a job.

If you look at 1 and 2 you will notice that 1 year program does not help much in terms of PGWP for CEC. CIC requests 12 month (1 year) experience to apply under CEC; however, you never know how long it will take to get a job (from NOC 0,A,B).

For no. 2 you may get a 3 year work permit. Check the following link out:

According to this link-

Students holding a one-year graduate degree, diploma or certificate from a participating institution in Canada after having obtained, within the prior two years, a certificate, a diploma or degree from a participating institution in Canada may qualify for a three-year work permit. This exception also applies to students who have left Canada temporarily between programs of study.

I must choose organization accredited by Ontario College of Teachers for my Education study of course! I have to.. But how I can verify that the University or college I am choosing to study in is- accredited/ Participating institutions/provincially or territorially accredited post-secondary institution or not??? Who will verify this!! :

Have you ever read official site www.cic.gc.ca ? It is there on the first page almost.

You did understand that you can not combine your forieng studies with a canadian study for three years PGWP? To receive a 3 year PGWP you MUST have minimum 2 years of study in Canada.

As you should use the CIC website as your MAIN site for CORRECT and CURRENT information in regards to study permits, OCWP, PGWP or anything else related to Canadian immigration, the above question is answered there. You will find that there are links burried in the information on those pages. Read carefully and pay attention. You could be missing vital information if you don't.

Thanks itstime. Yes I am reading the cic website and trying to be sure that- what I am understanding reading that website is correct!! That's why asking here... double checking for my understandings you know And thanks All for helping me out!! And I am not mixing other study with Canadian study. Actually I am going to take BED 1 yr and then will try to apply for MED 2 yr than want to have the PGWP... If lucky so!!

But still I m a little confused!! :-[

If I consider Ontario specially- some blogs say- Masters & PHD students get PGWP without job letter! So, as a Bachelor student I have to have job letter first???? ??? If yes than may I work to another province with job permit??? Experts plz help!!!

If I think for 2015- is there chance to have changes in rules????

Do not look at Ontario (provincial) program. Look at federal CEC
