Post Graduate work permit(PGWP) is expiring soon

I have obtained 1 year post graduate work permit, and its about to expire in 6 months.
I am working in a job for 3 last months. Can I apply for open work permit to extend my stay in canada and get PR through CEC after gaining 1 year experience?

Will i be eligible to get an open work permit after my PGWP expires.?

Unfortunately you don't qualify for an open work permit. If you want to continue working, your employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.
