Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) - IMM5710 questions!

Hi everybody,

I have just graduated from York University, got my letter of completion and all, and I have started my online application for the Post Graduate Work Permit.
I just have two small questions that I cannot found answered anywhere else on here or on the Internet:

1) My study visa is going to expire with my current passport on June 7,2015. Now when I was home for Christmas last year I already got a new passport, cause I knew I needed a valid one to get the PGWP. I am obviously goinng to scan my OLD and NEW passport pages for the attachments, but in the IMM5710 form, should I use my Passport Number of my OLD (the one that the Study Visa refers to) or my NEW passport??

2) For the work experience section - should I indicate that I have been and am currently working for two years part-time in Canada under my off campus work permit? I know if I wasn't working I would just fill in 'student' and all my corresponding information - but do they want to know part-time work? I just don't want them to get the wrong impression, Wasnt sure if this just referred to full-time jobs, I mean obviously my main 'occupation' was still 'Student', don't wanna confuse them.

If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

1) You will have to use your new passport number and its details. Coz they would need the date of issue and expiry of the new one and not the old. Its good that you are attaching a copy of the old one too. From now on all the time you would be using the new PP details for any future applications

2) You should write down the details of the part time work you have done as well. It is not particular to only full time work. In the job description/duties u can write it as part time

Hey,please help me answer that query as well? I am unsure if I should fill in part time work in employment or not? I worked on campus and off campus (total 2 jobs- 5 hours+ 15 hours = 20 hours). Should I put it or not? I am so tensed? I dont want to give wrong impression that I worked 2 part time jobs while studying full time. What if they delayed my permit just because of this - digging deeper into it?

Hi all,
I have recently applied for my PGWP. In the employment history section, I put Student (Recently graduated) in my current occupation. and then I continued with my past jobs (the jobs I had before I started studying). I worked part time for a few month while studying my last semester. I did not mention that in this section, since it was in the same time frame with my studying and there was no gap in my list. I did as below:
2019 to 2021 Student
2016 to 2019 Job 1
2011 to 2016 Job 2

Do you think I should send a webform and add the part time job while studying?

I will finish my program by December 15 and it takes 2 weeks to receive transcript and completion letter. My study permit is valid by March 22 and my visa is valid by March 30. I want to know if I travel back home for a month while waiting for my PGWP can I enter to Canada and work before getting my PGWP?

I think you can move in and out as long as your visa is not yet expired. Call or send a mail to IRCC if in doubt.
