Hello Seekers,
I hope you all safe in this nasty COVID situation.

Just wanted to take your opinion about 1 year PDG or 1 year Master program in Canada. I noticed that the PGWP will be given according to the length of study, in this case, it would be 1 yr PGWP. Do you think 1 yr would be enough to find a job? Currently I am working as a IT suppport Engineer in Sydney and I hold Honour Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Pakistan.

On the other hand, I am thinking to apply for 2 yrs Master program, which will allow upto 3 yrs PGWP after course completion. This way, I will have less stress and enough time for job hunt.

Your sincere advise will be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Ali

A two year program leading to a three year PGWP is always better as you would have to find a job immediately after graduation if you only had a one year permit.

You might take few months finding the job considering the present job market of your lucky. So, I'll suggest a 2 year program that gives you a 3 year work permit.
