Post-Graduate Work Permit (It really drives me nuts. )

I was trying to summit my IMM5710E form for the Post-Graduate Work Permit application. I wrote July 22 2013 as my status expiry date in the form and also the information that I had to provide before I started the application. However, after I summit the IMM5710E PDF, it shows me "Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. Modify your answers or the value in your form." all the time.

I am wondering if anyone else has the same problem. Because I had been trying soooooooo many times, and it is still this problem.

If you are trying to extend your PGWP under the new rule then you can only apply within the last four months of the current WP expiring. Maybe that's why its showing the error?

Hello Androme,

No I am not extending my work permit. I just graduated from school actually and I am trying to apply for a new work permit.
I believe the "Status" should be student and the expiry date should be the date of my study permit gets expired. Before I thought the problem might be the Passport expiry date, however, Passport is Passport, it is not "status".

I am so confused.

My friend and I are having the same problem,
We both went over the application more than ten times, we didn't detect any error.

It's not fixed yet, and they haven't reply my email neither. so slow...

I believe it takes 3 business days. The more people email CIC, the faster they will get on it. I give up, I mail out my paper package.

Heyyy appreantly the bug has been fixed. My friend was able to submit her PGWP online.

i still wont be able to upload my form. It still says
'Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. Modify your answers or the value in your form.'

So I went back to my 'answer', the one expiry date that they ask for is the status expiry date. I put down July 22 2013. Then I went to the form, go to the currenty status of residence, I put Canada(I am holding a chinese passport but currently living in Canada), status 'study', from April 18 2010 to July 22 2013. It is exactly the same. I am so confused.

Hm... Mine is till June 30, 2013 and I was able to submit it... I just cant sign the online application.
So frustrating.

i think i figure it out what the problem is. I change the application purpose from 'restoration of temporary resident status as a worker' to 'initial temporary resident permit or extension of temporary resident permit'.
And then it went through the system.

But i dont think I should choose the latter one though, because I just graduate from school and trying to apply for a new post-graduate work permit.
