Dear Sir,
My Name is JOHN.I was enrolled for a 1 year Post Graduate program at Centenial college.
There was an option to take Advanced standing for the 2nd semester.Henceforth i did that by
transferring the credit points from my BTech to the PG course here.So the official length of the program was 1 year but i completed it in 5 months. And I got credits=20
Now I want to get a work permit for 3 years.
Should I enroll in another college for another year and earn more credits (if so then how many more credit points)?
Is it the length of the program or the credit points matters for the work permit.

Kindly reply or do email me

You can check out this link on post-graduate work permit eligibility.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-postgrad-who.asp

After completed 1 year program you may get 1 year work permit
After completed 2 years program you may get 2 years or 3 years work permit
After completed 1+1=2 years program you may get 2 years or 3 years work permit

Now the question is if you can complete your 1 year program in 5 months will it be any problem?

Ok in my sense, Certificate will lead you means if your college mentioned that you have completed 1 year program then you will not face any problem, but if it mentioned that you have completed 5 months program then you may face trouble.

You can do 1+1= 2 years program, and it is called combined program, for this issue you can check this link-

Another important issue, try to do masters after PGD and if you can complete your 1st PGD within 5 months then don't try to get admit quickly, rather do work for rest of the year (if college will mention that you have done 1 year program) then join another college or University.
