Post Graduate Work Permit Application Problem

I recently graduated from a university in Canada and applied for post graduate work permit. I accidentally revoked my ex account and then opened a new one. Even though I have entered all the information correctly, still the system gives an error message and refuse to link my post graduate work permit application to the new account.

CIC provided an email address to me to contact which is question@cic.gc.ca. I have no idea if they can directly link my application from an email. I provided all necessary information that is asked before to me in their website to link the application.

My question is, if i revoked my account, does it mean I also revoked the application in that account? I hope not =(

Okay that's a blunder. I haven't heard anyone doing so I guess no one can relate to that situation especially not me. Your application is tied to your account so when you revoke your account your application I don't know gets annulled - again not sure. You need to call CIC #1888-242-2100 and check with them about your situation. Give them your previous application no. they might be able to locate that and tell you if it's still active or not and what you can do next. All the best and let us know the outcome!

They cannot reopen the revoked account. I called them and they told me so.

The problem is online staff do not really help about linking it all they say is to use link button. I enter all the information correctly but unable to link the applciation to my account. I sent 3rd message waiting for 17-18 days for a solution and they dont seem to have any alternative way to connect it. I am going to call them tomorrow to ask on phone because technical support keeps repeating itself with no solution which really pissed me off.

I did not know my application number but luckily they found it and said to me that was the only help they did. It is really weird that they keep repeating themselves instead of coming up with an alternative solution.

They are already too slow to answer and their answer is "click on: link my application: button". Oh yeah thanks it was a real help in 17 damn days.

And yeah, they are really frustrating because they could not solve a simple issue. I have been trying for 2 months and no success... In this case, better thing is not to revoke by mistake from the beginning. Because they cannot open a revoked account, they cannot help you to link your account. That revoked accound still informs me about updates, they are coming to my email adress and I cannot check it from anywhere. Their telephone service does not give any info about online application, the department that is responsible of online applications do not have any idea how to solve the problem.

Long story short, my application may be rejected and I dont even know how I can learn it..

Anybody knows if there is an alternative way to learn the application result? If you cannot reach from your online account?
