Post citizenship application from abroad

You can post it from abroad, as long as you have a mailing address listed within Canada. That way, if the application is incomplete and has to be returned IRCC will only send it back to a Canadian address.
All other correspondences are sent either via e-mail or snail mail to a Canadian address.

Apologies for the late response. Yes I submitted my application from the Uk. I had to return to care for my parents before the pandemic.I got an invitation via email to write the test. It was a 2 weeks notice period like everyone and I flew down . I wrote the test and was back to the UK before lockdown.
I am awaiting an invitation for swearing in. Since this is virtual I am not sure I can take the oat from Uk or I need to be in Canada. Flights are quite hard to get . I will update if I have any further details. All the best too.
The oath has to be taken in Canada. Hopefully you are able to return once you get the invite.
