Hey,

I am really confused about applying for a Post baccalaureate in International business management.

I have an UG degree in Business management and my visa was rejected for Graduate certificate course in Global business.

Is Post baccalaureate course of more academic value than the graduate certificate course I had been rejected for?

What are the chances of getting a visa this time because I am applying at an university this time instead of a college like before?.

What future educational potions are there after this Post-baccalaureate course?

Please respond and thanks.

HI sorry for the last reply.

well my visa was rejected on the grounds that "my course made no sense and I wouldn't come back after my authorised duration of stay". I had applied for Global business management graduate certificate course at Humber college.

Profile:
10th- 50%
12th-52%
UG- business management from UK - 57%
IELTS - 7.5 (nothing below 6.5)
One year of work experience from my family business.

Who says certificate grads have an edge over and above diploma (pg diploma holders)? rather let me ask you, what's the difference between certificate and diploma programs?

What if i say even graduating from Uni doesn't guarantee a field relevant job?

It's all about how well you do, how well you are connected here, networking skills etc. These are the skills required for success here.

Though ideally regular students are preferred, but having said that, it doesn't mean you don't stand a chance. My friend applied in December 2012 for Jan 2013 intake. She did her graduation b.com from DU via correspondence with only 48% over all. Many consultants denied her visa chance. She applied directly to Seneca college under General category and got the visa. She is now on PGWP here.

Share your complete profile, perhaps that can help me and others to guide you further.
