Hi, i want to pursue post graduate diploma in human resource management from TRU, what are the job opportunities after this diploma in canada? How is this univ? Are students easily placed?
In Canada there is not such a kind of gradation of colleges and universities as it is in the USA. In Canada there are a couple of big univercities but that's it. Nobody cares much about your school as much as about your grades.
Job opportunities depend on your kind of education and CANADIAN job experience.
So you should understand that with HR degree there will not be many jobs in such a small place like Kamloops with its 90 000 inhabitants and mostly "small busineses" and small and medium private corporations. Neither of them needs an HR.
Yes i understand, like i get my qualification from this Univ and can try jobs in Toronto!? Suggest me.....wher will i find good jobs related to my field in canada?
hey guys..i have received an offer letter for Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in MARKETING (Jan 2014 intake)...i have a bachelors degree in business field i.e Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)...I have 3 questions:
1. Will i get a stable job which will eventually help me getting PR?
2.During my diploma course will i get a part time job or internship?
To all the guys asking about TRU. I am currently graduating next month and let me tell you that TRU does not offer any campus placements and very few companies visit the campus , that too for their promotion and not for hiring. Part time jobs are available at grocery stores. Stable job after graduation depends majorly on your contacts here.. overall the job scene for graduates suck.. it is hard for internationals to get jobs . I wont say there is no discrimination which contributes to such situation. Thanks
Thank you soo much for the details.
First let me give my background. My ielts score is 7.5 and have a 2 years work ex.
I was planning to take up the PGDM course at TRU. Please let me know is it worth.
I mean how are the placements, what is the total fees and what is the overall scene there.
What other universities are good there for MBA or the PGDM course? Is University of Manitoba good?
I would be really thankful to you cause i am really confused.
