Khub maje le rahe ho Miya ji.
Ha ha ha

No jokes, I was being serious Ashu !

Was reading your experiences you posted. Really helpful for first-timers, many aspects which many may have not even thought of (e.g.: stop-over time required before connecting flight given the landing process time involved, having to sleep over at the airport....).

Am sure there will be many many more learnings which will help many here make a more informed move. Currently they are all lost in so many other discussions here.

Btw, i am not a "miya ji" :p. That is just 'a name' I use of a dear friend I had long back :)

Hope you have an easier time getting settled at the earliest. Best wishes, and keep sharing !

Was sad to hear of the difficulties you faced during your travel, including your son's health issues. Btw:
  1. How important is it to reach SK immediately ? Is there somewhere in SK where you need to go and register your arrival ? The reason I am asking is: can I stay with a friend for sometime in Toronto (since I will be landing there) and go to SK after locating a job in SK?
  2. Where did you stay when you reached SK ? Did you arrange for a place to stay in Saskatoon before you left India ?
Do share, thanks !

Because the exam is very tough. International driving license is not necessary. Only 1 year min. Old LMV license is very useful. Because by the help of that, we can take Practical road test anytime after clearing online signs and Rules exam.
Road test is very dangerous . ( like UPSC)

Open door society is very helpful for all these things. Tel. 306 653 4464
You can get Board walk Rental apartment without any credit history. Boardwalk has many vacant flats in different areas of Saskatoon and Regina.
But have to deposit 3 months advance (Refundanle )
