Don't really understand if theres anything in that table to scare me. Haven't heard of a rejection post pp submission and RPRF encashment.

Read this para from CIC & Immigration website about RPRF significance:

The Right of Permanent Residence fee

You will only need to pay this fee if your application to immigrate as a skilled worker is approved. It covers you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, if applicable. It must be paid before Citizenship and Immigration Canada issues your permanent resident visa. This fee is refundable if you cancel your application or if you do not use your visa.

If that is the case then why there is such a delay.

Okay, lemme tell u all a thing - one of my friends who has applied under FSW1 - also a post 26th june applicant was suppose to travel overseas for official reasons.

He submitted his pp's in march itself, just a day before me. His family and I went to CHC ND last week and though i waited for four hrs outside the building, he went inside with his wife and kid to enquire about his status and to request for PPs. When he enquired with one of thr employees about this delay, the answer he got was that "Sir, its not yr fault...it has something to do with our management". When he asked precisely as to whats wid the mgt, the guy just smiled back at him. My friend was assured told that his case is closed and the PPs are lying for satmping only. Then he was asked to wait inside as they started searching his passports but could not trace them. All this while I was waiting outside, kept my fingers crossed and prayed for him.

Then the same person came to him after a long time and asked him to come next day and collect all the PPs. Again i went with him and around 4 pm he got all the passports back with visas and a copy of COPR for all.

I hope this answers your query and some of the misunderstandings.

Thats good news but searching for passports sounds like going to a govt officer and the babu searching for the documents we gave him for approval

I dont know if you asked me whether or not I have thought of trying this in my own case. Though if i understood it right then my answer is Yes, when I went thr with my friend I also filled up the enquiry form with my file no. and other details and submitted it. I got an acknowledgment letter but I wasn't allowed to enter inside as I din have an emergency case unlike my friend.

+1 From me Rohan, this is very imp. information you have provided.
It will ease our nerves a bit.. .

Nitroxn, as I put it up in my earlier post - my friend had to attend an important marketing event overseas and he took his invitation/participation letter from his concerned office. BTW this event was scheduled for July itself and so the chc guys were kind enough to issue his stamped passports within 24 hours.

that was the same case with me... an overseas trip was sponsored by my office but since my passports were not here. i had to leave the opportunity.

Their is a new look to the Client Application Status (e-cas) page. The drop-downs to fill Identification type & number have shifted to the left. However their doesn't seem to be any apparent change in functionality or results shown.....anybody see any change?
