Trend on forum is, when the address is missing, the file is going to "In Process" stage
What are the timelines of ur application ?

What do you mean by "when the address is missing"?

Read the subsequent pages, you will have a better understanding.

I read the other posts and I only see one case of a person whose address is missing and the E-Cas application status chaged to "In Process".

I don't think that's a trend...

count me here. I am still RBVO

I applied on Aug 16 2010,
Received the PER on Dec 6, 2010.
Nothing so far.

Currently, it looks like that it takes 5 to 6 months (after receiving PER from CIO Sydney NS) to get the case into "In Process" and receive Medical/PCC request.
Hope all the cases will be processed as fast as possible!
All the best !

Hey guys...anyone here in canada whos work permit is pending process and under implied status?

most of buddies who got 'IN progress 'are fsw2. for those fsw1, always RBVO.

File to sydney Jan 27, PER and Then RBVO on March 27, address on e-cas came and gone for a few times. Nothing new.

Buffalo is slow. those who sent to Beijing now 5 got landing paer.

Count me in guys, still RBVO.

But the good news is that although it says RBVO, but we are actually IN PROCESS.

There are couple people in another thread, who have inquired with BUFFALO and were clearly told that don't go by the E-CAS status. ECAS is for applications processing within CANADA only. E-CAS does not represent the progress of any Visa Office.

Even if you change your address in E-CAS, the visa office, won't even know it, unless you change it directly with visa office via fax or email.

So cheer up, most of you are already IN PROCESS, that is the only reason that we are not going to get 2nd AOR. We will directly get the MEDICAL REQUEST.

Lets hope for the best.

Aloha guys!
I ordered CAIPS note last June and yesterday i received GCMS instead of CAIPS.It's 27 pages it took me 1 sleepless night to understand what's in it.Bottom line is Buffalo started working on my file and i'm happy to see they added my spouse as my dependent(i submitted my spouse's application May 2011).
ASSESSMENT:
Eligibility:NOt started
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality:IN PROGRESS
Medical:Not Started
I think they started with criminality check..
I understand i still have a long way to go but at least now i know where i'm standing at.
Best of luck to all..
Jo

According to this spreadsheet (https://spreadsheets4.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?authkey=CLDXsFA&hl=ar&key=tlbJsa0NlV-nFVmQca8Apzg&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFA#) the applications received PER by December 2010 have now turned from RBVO to "In Process".

Therefore, it looks like that it is taking around 6 to 7 months (from the PER issue date from CIO Sydney) to get it "In Process".

It is also being noticed that Buffalo is now sending Medical Request, Police Clearance Certificates request and Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF) all together in a single letter, which will probably make later part of application processing (after it turns into "In Process" faster) !!!

Post 26 June applications with visa office Buffalo, please do share your time lines / updates.

Thanks,
