How do you know that your file is transferred to Detroit. Did you receive a letter or email?

Guys ,Mine applied Dec 2010.
AOR received during Feb 2011.
Still in RBVO.. no updates after that.

Not sure whether file transfered or still with Buffalo.. as CPP-Ottawa response was they are unable to provided update status on my file..

Today I called CIC Call Center (1-888-242-2100) and they told me that my file has been transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa (although I did not receive any email notification about transfer).

BTW: I applied in March 2011, for PER from Sydney Nova Scotia in April 2011 and eCas is in RBVO since then.

Hopefully now Ottawa office will process our applications faster!

as far as I see, july and august 2010 applicants got their PR soon and from summer 2011 until now they only reviewed september and october 2010 applications, if the trend is gonna be the same, november and december applications will be reviewed from now until summer 2013, and applicants like me hopefully will get their medical requests in 2014! this is Buffalo or Ottawa, no difference!

All the files from Buffalo are in Ottawa now (as I asked from CIC Call Center). Hope CPP-Ottawa will start processing the Post 26/6 applications submitted on or after January 2011 soon, and we will have good news soon !!!

I am not sure, since a friend of mine who has applied in Dec 2010 (December 4th) hasn't received MR yet. His file is in Ottawa due to what his MP says.

CIC people at Ottawa are busy with everything other than processing the applications.
I know an Ontario PNP guy submitted his medical exams in March then nothing happened... It is not just an FSW problem.

No news from CPP-Ottawa.. it appears they havent started working on our files....
I'm waiting since Feb2011.. and no updates so far..
