Hi, I recently received our first copy of GCMS notes. They made a notation regarding my previous marriage and are also recommending that my husband attend an interview. I had supplied them with marriage/divorce dates and the divorce certificate when we sent our application and was not expecting them to have any further in depth questions pertaining to that relationship.
My husband is of course aware of my previous marriage, nothing is a secret and he will also have a copy of my court affidavit, I just don't think its fair to him to have to answer questions like when I met my ex-spouse, the date we separated, the reasons our relationship did not work out, etc.. He will have enough with having to satisfy whatever else they want to know about our relationship without having to clarify my past.
As opposed to my husband having to answer detailed questions about my previous relationship/divorce, I was hoping to send them a copy of my court affidavit that explains everything. I went to the courthouse today to get a certified copy of the affidavit. Is there any way to pro-actively upload/send it to them now (Paris office V/O) or are we only able to send additional documentation when requested to do so. I would like to give them the opportunity to review it in advance now while they are working on our file rather than on the spot at his interview, which will probably take place in a few months.
Any insight is appreciated
