That must be so frustrating. However, some good news is some officers are still working. I'm on another forum where peoples trackers are still being updated and they are getting their ceremonies scheduled for May, even during the strike. So applications haven't halted completely. Fingers crossed for you and all of us.
This good to know.

Oh shoot, sorry about that!
But what if the strike ends on Sunday? Isn't it a bit early to cancel for Monday?? Smh...
Yes, that's what I was thinking too. But I guess, they have to organize in some way BEFORE the ceremony? And so Monday is now off the table?

That's a valid concern. Hard to guess their stupid algorithms.. I have seen people from my local office applied after me almost similar circu
But you know how the rescheduling normally works with IRCC. So, honestly, I don’t want to have high hopes, and then get disappointed again.
That's so true !

They do negotiate on weekends.
If that's the case why then cancelling a Monday ceremony now when you still have the weekend to continue the negotiations is not appropriate, what if an agreement was reached on the weekend and the strike is called off with an immediate go back to work order starting Monday 24th April....

I think its a automated email , since the IRCC site says all ceremonies cancelled .

not accurate. Not all ceremonies are cancelled. Some ceremonies have actually taken place during the strike.
I guess it depends on the office. Maybe it would be more accurate to say all ceremonies in Scarborough and Mississauga offices are being cancelled. This is what we are seeing so far.

Just wondering if they would be able to invalidate and declare the strike unlawful based on this?
Unfortunately, that did not happen. The Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board found irrégularités upon receiving a complaint but decided not to invalidate the strike vote.
