Hi. It is been like 15 month i claim refugee here . I am still waiting for my case to be heard. It was really painfull journey for me when my father being killed and i fled to canada. But now it's become really frustrating for me as 15 month passed and there is no sign of my hearing. All kind of thoughts are exploding my mind.

Can everyone share their experience so that i can have a General knowledge of what type of questions i should expect in my hearing.

Thanks in advanc.

Well, all questions depend on your specific case. At my hearing board member didn't dig to any information she was just trying to see if I know everything else which I didn't write in BOC. She asked me questions on facts of the events not their detail.

My board member didn't give me any hard time or maybe I would able to answer her questions from the every angle of my story. She asked me few difficult questions but I was able to provide her an answer for those questions and this is very important you should know your story from every angle. If board member ask you a question and you don't have an answer for that then It's a problem.

Be prepare to give a picture of your claim. Preparation is the key.

Work on your credibility, state protection and IFA.
Must provide detail about state protection and IFA is not available in your and why not.
