Possibity of getting Refused after medical examination

Hi there,
Does anyone know about getting refused after medical examination (not only for health issue but for others)? Please do let me know.
I applied for a study permit on June 13, 2013 from VFS- Dhaka. Got medical call on July 04 and submitted my passport on July 07, 2013 after attending medical examination. Two of my friends submitted their passports on the same date and got their letter of approval yesterday. I don't know if anything is wrong with my file. feeling hopeless..
One more thing, I heard that the Visa office of the Canadian High Commission in Singapore is out of Strike. Is it true?

The Singapore office is out of strike. But due to application overload the processing is delayed. I have not yet heard anyone who got rejected after medicals from Bangladesh. SO do not be tensed wait you will get visa. Some applications take much processing time than normal its because of additional checking of application.

ya it does take some time.....but chances of visa is high after medical request....

it took me almost a mth to receive the visa after medical....

I just got the e-mail today...so keep ur hopes up....

I got tensed as I passed 1 month after the medical. Lets see. :/

stop posting on all threads ur a journalism student u should know better this is not a way to get an answer.....start ur own thread and wait....be patient dont take over other peoples thread who have genuine question

the reason I'm doing this is to HELP other students who have been effected by the strike and are having delays with their visa applications, etc. the news report assignment will be taking their stories/situations into consideration and giving them a voice, which will be published online and sent to government departments and newspapers here in Canada.

There's no reason to be rude, since I'm trying to reach out to students who genuinely have a problem.

good that ur helping people but do it in the right way do not jack others threads and spam......people have other concerns too not just strike by spamming ur just taking over their threds ......I understand u must be under pressure for ur assignment but do it the right way start ur own thread and let people speak up ......
