I completed Doctor of pharmacy in India and I am looking forward to join Memorial university for MPH or MS in pharmacy. But i have heard from some visa consultants that visa would be rejected because the previous course and prospective course do not match. How likely is this to happen?

Its quite simple
You have done Ph.D. in Pharmacy and then you are planning to study masters in pharmacy

Why would one do masters after doing Ph.D.?
This que will arise in everyone including VO mind
And I dont think that anyone can justify this

Not at all, I have done Doctor of Pharmacy from Pakistan as well, you are fine to go for MPH or MS in Pharmacy. No issue is there.
