Hi everyone - I have just done with my medical process 1 week before. I wanted to know what is the probability of rejection after the medical ? Has it happens with anyone ? What was the reason ?

If anyone can share it -- will be appreciated !!

Yes, it`s possible to rejected at any point during the process. Someone in the skilled worker section was rejected after medicals for having the wrong NOC code. Try not to panic because there is nothing you can do to control the situation anyways.

If someone has a contagious disease, and its discovered after the medicals (Aids, TB etc.), probability is high that the application will get rejected.

When I came to Canada,my visa was delayed since the doctor found a scar in the xray and CIC then advised additional medicals. "Ater that I was issued the visa but cic told me to report to the regional health center when I land in canada as I wss issued a medical surveillance. The health center just took one more xray and sent me a letter and confirmed that I have no TB and need not be any further survelliance.I completed 2 yrs in canada now and aplied for PR under CEC. Should I show the letter issued by the health center to the doc when I go to medicals or should just keep quiet.I never had TB in my life but not sure how that scar appeared on that xray.

You have to disclose it in the Section A form under past medical history and a letter confirming that you don't have TB can't be a bad thing.

Senortia, I am not sure of the section A form. Can you please provde more clarity on this...

It's a form you have to fill out at the DMP's office - it asks about any past surgeries, medical history, medications, past immigration exams, etc. This form and the results of the tests and physical exam are sent to the medical office in Ottawa.

Hello guys.

I am the prime applicant applied under skilled category visa.

My husband got renal transplant few years back because of which our application is still under hold. Embassy is holding passport of myself, my husband and my 5 year old son for last 2 years and not replying the result of our application.

Currently the medical status for my husband is M5. What is the possibility of getting our visa and by what time.


Could someone please advise.
