My sister is a Canadian PR awaiting her citizenship and she is funding my education. I was doing BA last sem and have a very good GPA on that but am now shifting to Anoter course in the same college. However my sis has been unemployed the last six months n although she just got a job the financial situation is tight. My question is that if she writes to my college asking for my fees to be reduced on these grounds.. Is it likely they will offer some rebate?? Has anyone else been in this situation and what did they do? Did it help???

No - they won't.

No they won't, unless it is YOU who is a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, you'll be required to pay international students fees.

I have a sister who is a Canadian citizen and I am paying international student fees.
