Thank you so much saki, Do you think 2 months will be enough to get the passport returned with visa considering the current processing timeline?

I have one more question, Do you know anyone got rejected PR even after medicals not just becasue of the medical issues but because of some other issues?

I will be put on trouble after resigning my job if I dont get the PR. Just a curiosity question.

Thanks a lot

HI Vismaya,

I have done some research and came to know that it is illegal to send passport from India to any other country so even if you are successful in sending your passport from NewZealand the New Delhi visa office will not be able to send your passport back, so this left you with only 1 option to travel to India when they request for the passport.

HI

I think 2 months are enough to get your passport back with a visa, if they have requested you the passport then it means everything is cleared unless they see something in your passport like trips which you didnt mention to them that could take a time for the security check other then that i dont think anyone got rejected after Passport request.

saki, I havent included my travel history when I submitted documents as my consultant said it is not required. I specifically asked him on this and he advised me to stay cool. I had a few trips to Dubai and even after I submitted my passport I had been into Dubai again.

If this is important, do you think I can provide them these details now?

In New Delhi visa office checklist they have clearly asked for the travel history.

4.TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS
•Passports or travel documents for you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children. Include photocopies of all pages of the passports/travel documents.
•If you live in a country different from your nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country where you currently live.
•You must hold a valid regular passport; diplomatic, official, service or public affairs passports are not valid for immigration to Canada.
Provide a travel history list for you and your family members 18 years of age and older, which includes the date of entry/exit for all the countries visited and the routing.
Note: Countries of transit must also be listed with entry/exit dates.

I dont know why your consultant told you stay cool because it is an important information especially when it comes to security check. I have seen one applicant who travelled after submitting the full documents to the visa office and didnt inform Visa office about his trips when he submitted his passport for the visa they returned his passport saying they cant issue the visa right now and most probably the reason was his trips which he didnt disclose and they came to know about them when they check the passport. Visa office do all the checks related to the trips because if you see they especially asks for the countries of transit as well which shows how important is that information. I would suggest you to go back to your consultant and ask him the reason why he didnt submit the "travel history" and submit it now. Check in the New Delhi visa office thread as well to see what others have done.

saki, I asked the same thing to my consultant and he said he never sent travel histories for any of his clients and its not required. Anyway I am going to send an email to him with my travel history and will ask him to submit it at the visa office.

I am also planning a short trip abroad on Feb 22, 2011 and do you think this future travel plans are also required to inform them?

Can you also give the website link to the delhi visa office check list so that I can send him with the list which I hope can open his eyes. I dont want to blame him, he did a great job for me when i prepared my documents (other than the travel history) and I was not much aware about the process in that point of time.

saki, you are very informative, I really mean that.

Thanks,

Vismaya

Hi

Below is the link to the cic website which shows all the visa offices and there checklist click on the New Delhi and checklist will be opened. I dont know why he hasnt send the travel history for others because if its listed in the checklist then it means its required. Anywez you can show him this link and other source to confirm this is by sending an inquiry to ND visa office and if they say YES it is required then you can show that email to your consultant as well. I would suggest to keep visa office updated with your trips once you are back you can send the updated travel history form so that they are well aware and dont get surprised when they see your passport and starts the security checks again which will just cause more delays and you dont want that.

Cheers

Hi Vismaya and saki

I am in the same boat too. I haven't even received my second AOR. My documents was received at the delhi office on 18th October 2010 and have no response.

I checked the copies of my application many times and even I had my friends checked it for me a few times just to make sure and could find nothing wrong.

But I havent sent any travel history and you know I travlled more than 50 times abroad and have no clear idea about the dates. I may be able to get some from the freequent flyer program of the airline but I am sure I havent recored all my travles in the program. Another thing is that I have lost my first and second passports which I used to use from 2001 to 2006 which I have clearly mentioned on the covering letter. So that means i have no place to check the exit and entry dates on the passport.

saki, do you think this might be the problem with my 2nd AOR ?

A case specific enquiry was sent to the visa office second time on Dec 24, 2010 and still waiting for a response.

What kind of an action is required at the moment ?

Hi saki

I sent an email to my consultant and he said he will send it if I feel that is important. He still says that is not important as I have had all the copies of my passport sent to the CHC Delhi. But he agreed to send it as I said I need that to be done.

Do you think sending this seperate can make the process delayed somehow?

I am not very femiliar about this. Anyway my travel details are send to my consultant and he will send it the visa office probably tomorrow.

I dont know what to be done on your case as there are many travels involded and you have no idea about the dates. Anyway dont worry, there will have someway to get things done. You will be fine, but may require some more time.

I think saki is the best guy to give you some guideline on this question. He/She has quite reliable info for everybody in this thread. PMM another guy with lots of answers to your questions. There are many others too with good info on this canada immigration system. These guys make this thread such an informative for everyone here. Thanks everyone in this thread and I am really impressed to have such great guys live on this thread.

Many thanks and best wishes to everyone here.

Sans_may - Just wait for saki or some super users here to answer your below question. I dont have much info with me.

Hi Sans

About the travel history i said what i read on the new delhi visa office checklist and if its there then it needs to sent. Check with the other guys in the new delhi thread if they have send it or not and do you have the checklist which you used at the time of sending your full docs because maybe they have just added the travel history recently after you sent the docs so better check with delhi office applicants as my office is different. About 2nd aor this is not the reason of delay the visa office is very busy so wait you will get it soon and check whats your online status say if you are able to check it. If visa office needs the trvael history form they will ask you when your application gets in process they will give you 60 days to submit it. Right now i think you can either wait or send it now with as many trips you can mention.

no it wont delay your process but if you dont send it and they require it then they will give you 60 days to submit it which means it will take you more time to get the decision but if you send it now it wont delay anything later.

Many thanks saki

I am going to find my travel log as much as I can and is thinking to send a detailed letter explaing things clear. Hope this will make the process faster rather than waiting for them to send me mail asking for the info.

I just checked the delhi visa office check list which I download that time cleary states the requirement of travel log.

I am going to send them the travel log and let me see. Hope I will get my AOR soon.

I could still not abale to access the application status.

Anyway, just waiting for the Case specific enquiry reply and hope it will clear the grey areas of thoughts.

Thanks from the bottom of the heart saki
