hi guys, I am planning to apply immigration to Canada via ee as a skilled professional. I m healthy but my husband ‘s body carries HVB virus but after check , it is inactive.

Will the immigration authority reject the application becoz of inactive hvb inside my husband? Did anyone with hvb but get PR successfully ? Please share with me.

I hv consulted my agent he said you can try but still some are rejected.

CIC will not reject your application if your husband Hep B is inactive and not causing excessive demand on public health. I had a friend in the same shoe and he passed the medical exam. When you do your upfront medical, you just need to show the result stating that it is inactive (viral load, ASTL, etc, check with the specialist). Your hubby will pass the medical exam for sure. To have PR or not, it still depends on other factors with work, experience and so on.

And, you should ditch your agent, that person does not have the thorough knowledge by saying that to you.

Happy to hear from you. Much thanks to you!!!!

Actually the agent is not appointed yet. We are just in consultation process only. I will re-consider if I really employ her as my agent.

Big Thanks!!!
