I applied for my PR on November 17th. On January 6th, I was asked for biometrics, which I submitted right away. Then, on March 6th, I received a request for a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Qatar, where I had only lived for five months (so I hadn’t obtained one before).
On March 10th, I responded to IRCC, requesting either an extension or a waiver since I hadn’t stayed in Qatar for six months, and also because the online PCC process there takes 2–3 months.
Now, on March 18th, I received the Portal 1 request. Does this mean they’ve waived the Qatar PCC requirement, or should I still expect to submit it later? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
