Hello Forum,

:D :D :D Just wanted to send an update. I got a call from my hubby today, informing me that he got back his passport from POS with his VISA. I am so happy and excited right now, words can't even explain how I feel. I am aiming for the ending of June for his landing.

I just want to let everyone on the forum know that it takes a lot of patients during the waiting process, I prayed alot during the waiting period, overall everything took about 8 months.

For everyone who is waiting continue to pray, have faith and think positive.

Congrats Berbician! Best of luck to you, your hubby and family...:)

Welcome Trini777!

Thanks you guys!! Also congratulations on ur success. Anyone has any ideas on my situation?

Hi Forum.. Still waiting news out of Port of Spain We sent my son's birth certificate and my proof of Canadian residency which they requested by June 6, It was sent May 11 waiting to hear if they need more information, do you think they will need further background information or should this be it. Ecas still says application received

Spiritrac...I wouldn't wanna make any predictions on what to expect from this office. My husband and I are 13 weeks after the interview and 10 weeks " in process" on E-cas. We've (our lawyer) requested a status update 3 weeks ago and they didnt even respond to that. It would be really nice to hear some good news from POS for anyone on this thread. It's been to quiet! Lol

I would also love to hear some updates from POS.....seems reaaalllly quiet.

Maybe tom ..since today is a holiday and then thurs is a holiday.....so its a short working week in TNT.

My ECAS still says 'Application received'....no AOR after 3 mths into this process.

Trinidad does have to much a holiday that is why things dont get done in a more efficient manor.

Yes they do...I at times think we have to many in Canada lol. Guess not. Well forum people a year ago today I kissed my husband good bye with the hopes of being reunited real soon. That day hasn't come yet and I'm missing him like crazy!

C'mon POS get moving...we need some news!!!

Wow they really take long to get to people after the interviews. I can't understand what the keep back would be. Obviously they should now their decisions right after that!

yes POS...reunite us with our loved ones! :)

i am going to trinidad in july and i am thinking about going by the immigration office but i dont know do you think it would be a help or a hinder? becuz i find that for such a small country it is taking them so long to process things.

Alo....I dont know if they will even let you speak to someone, but if you do decide to go..best of luck and plz let us know if u get any feedback.

Alo...considering they won't give any info over the phone or respond to e-mails or fax, I don't think you'll get anywhere showing up at the office. Probably wouldn't even be seen unless you have a request of theirs to honour. You can only try...if you do? Good luck.

Your application was filed in April of this year. It is unlikely you will get any information inquiring in July, as you will be just about 2 months at POS, and their official timeline is what now, 14 months?
