Great, well it all worked out fine for you thank heaven. My spouse is from Guyana and I am Portuguese Canadian, we have been together for many years in a genuine relationship and it's the third application I'm submitting, having to prove many things, many documentation, I traveled to Trinidad to be with my spouse for the interview, it's been very tough dealing with this but we retained a lawyer. I wanted to ask do you know of any good immigration lawyer in Trinidad? My spouse may possibly need legal representation incase there is an interview required again.

wow..immigration can be so unpredictable at times..ome question tho..do u guys have a child or children together? I know it helps with the application as a strong tie because I had no problem in terms of proving how genuine my relationship was. I have a son with my husband we provided western union and money gram receipts photos of him spending time different years together and on vacation that's it and we never had an interview or was asked for more documents my app took 6.5 months altogether. sometimes it's not even about the lawyer it's about proving to immigration how genuine your relationship is even without a child and always give them precisely what they ask for not less or too much cause trust me they will start questioning u. always answer questions truthfully and spot on. never give them extra informaction they didn't ask for that's when questions arise. I hope u and your wife are successful this time because it can be stressful..and if u guys do need a lawyer to ease the burden make sure u all do your research extremely well to obtain a good one...

You should email them and ask them if they require any additional documents and if you need an updated police clearance lol.

An update from our end we just received a reply from an email inquiry sent August 23,2018 stating we are in que for review. My husband passed his medical on August 21, 2018. I had to send 3 email in order to be responded too, Make sure when you are asking that you are short, clear and concise with what you want to know. I was not asking the right questions and that is why they did not respond to me. I asked how long did they project his ppr taking as we are running out of time for our home lease is about to expire and can’t renew. Then i asked finally if there was somethinf missing from our file, if we needed anything else (such as an update p.cerificate) and they said no and to basically wait and that we were in que for review.
