Prior to the interview, did you have to provide any supporiting/follow up documentations? or fees?

We had our interview in August, and we had to submit an updated application. We got a letter one week later. I hope the experienced members can help with this.

Personally, I would email PSPAN, asking is the files submitted is correct, and if there were any further details needed on the files you provided.
In doing this you're covering many fronts, not techically asking for an update, you asking to see if all the files are correct.

Coincidentally the officer would need to review your file and see if there is any issues(front 1), at the same time give you an update, POSSIBLY with a status of the files (front 2)

At no time did you ask for an update, or time line - which is what they don't want you to do - but you didnt ask that right? Nope! you just asked if they has all the files they needed.

So finally after a long wait they requested my passport. So i guess the process is almost over.

happy to know. I am waiting on passport too. its the last stretch..but now we are sooo impatient. just over 2 weeks now, so we have our fingers crossed.

Today makes it a year to the day my pp was received at cpc Ottawa, I must say the time went by very fast. Best of luck to all those who are waiting to be with your loved ones..

Port of Spain is really quiet. Hoping the rest of the month comes with good news for everyone else waiting for PPR or waiting on passport returns. Keeping my head up birthday on the 23 and wishing I could be around my babes but God knows best. AND everything is done in his timing.

If you applied for spousal sponsorship, they generally keep it for about 2 weeks. You can continuously keep tracking the return airway bill to see if its on its way back. They do final checks before issuing the visa and if ''something comes up'', they will keep it for a longer period to make sure everything is straight.

Sooo Happy!!!! Got my passport back today. Planning to land somewhere mid December.
In all (delivery times included) took me 3 weeks to get it back. You'll be getting it soon. ;D
