Hey you guys. First of all I just want to say thank you to everyone who has always been looking out to hearing from me and wishing me well. I want to come out and say sorry that I have been away so long, although I have been monitoring the forum from time to time. The truth is, I got through since February. The reason I stayed away is because I know so many persons were waiting for so long and didn't want to get anybody worried or rub it in anyone's face that I got through quickly. Now that most of us are approved, I am very happy....

I may have some good news. I just logged on to ECAS and saw 2 updates. One was that they send me correspondence on May 20th which my lawyer didn't send me until May 30th (SOB'S lol) and the other one is that they send me correspondence on June 6th which I am pretty sure is sitting in their email as well. I send them an email but the office doesn't open until 9am. So I will update later...

I spoke with the girl who is handling my case but she said they didn't receive any correspondence from CIC but she will follow up today.

I am hoping it's PPR....

Waitingsince2012 - how exciting! I hope it's the PPR request finally!! That would be so awesome and very timely.

Congrats Tdguy!!! So happy you got through in no time at all!

I guess POS does apps in 4 months which is good... my application was 4 months from the time they finally found it... but truthfully it worked out to be the best timing.... relocating/immigrating is not cheap!

Tomorrow makes two weeks since the fam is here and they are still loving Canada... it's busy and hectic... but they are getting familiar with the neighborhood... and my husband has a good grasp of the currency... only issue is people don't always catch what he is saying cause of his accent.

Aw Anxiouswifey that's so nice..I can imagine my husband having the same problems. My kids have been here a year already and have strong canadian accents.

So anyways got an email from DHL today...package has been picked up from the embassy and is on its way to my husband!! So exciting can't wait to see his passport

Just my luck, no PPR...the office just received the original hard copy yesterday of the email that was sent on May 20th.

So I am still waiting for PPR... :

Aw Anxiouswifey that's so nice..I can imagine my husband having the same problems. My kids have been here a year already and have strong canadian accents.

So anyways got an email from DHL today...package has been picked up from the embassy and is on its way to my husband!! So exciting can't wait to see his passport

Also, DHL never called my husband to collect his package... no email or anything... the website said it was in Guyana and with a third party...

I asked my husband to go and check DHL... and that is when we found that their passports had been sitting at DHL for two days....

it may be worthwhile for your husband to check to see if it is in on Monday.
