Good morning to all. It's a beautiful day, a tad chilled but should warm up as the day goes one. I hope you all enjoy your day, plus Saturday as its expected to be warmer.
Not forgetting mothers day this weekend.

No update on my front...still waiting on PSAPN for an update for the return of passport. I am periodically checking the returned FedEx envelope - nada.

Cheers,

Ryan

Good afternoon friends. We are still waiting for my hubby's Permanent Resident Card. Only been waiting since November 2, 2015!
We sent in new pics as the ones that were submitted with his application were the wrong size since they changed the requirements while we were moving through the PR process.

Sent new pics about 3 weeks ago and no status update.

187 days and counting - over 6 months.

I am hoping that we get the PR card before Christmas as we want to be in sweet TNT for Christmas....

Happy Friday everyone!

Beautiful weather today...looks to be a beautiful mothers day weekend. Happy early mothers day to all the moms waiting on here.

Canadianinlove that is a really long time to be waiting for PR Card. ..hope your husband gets it soon.

No news for me...keeping the faith

Good day to all.

I just received the medical request today but I can't find the IMM1017 form attach to the email they sent me.What should I do? I've searched online but I couldn't find it. Please correct me if I am wrong, only the visa center can generate that form right? If I send an email to PSPAn how soon can they get back to queries?

Hi Team POS!

We have no news from POS but that has more to do with us than them lol...

If anyone is sponsoring children from a previous relationship, make sure the non-accompanying parent signs the waiver from the onset, even if you have sole custody. It just makes life easier!

The weather is beautiful today, and I am hoping for a wonderful Mother's Day on Sunday!

I hope we start hearing more good news soon! I can't visit the board as often, work has got me caught up and prepping for their landing in Canada is also time consuming. But I do check in every once and a while to see how things are coming along for those still waiting. :)

Hello All

Happy Sunday, Happy Mothers Day to the respected ladies - you are strong, and keep us in check! Can't tell you how many times I want to scream and blow a gasket, but your calm, collected coolness {even when you don't think you are}and keep us men in check - for that I bid you wonderful day.

Regarding updates - I last reported on Friday that I had no updates since the additional documents + passport had reached PSPAN less than two weeks ago this Tuesday. Well, between my Friday's posting, and today, I am seeing a new update in ECAS.
Under the heading: Permanent Residence Application Status, it changes from In Process, to Decision Made - but no additional details/lines once I click the link.

I continuously check to see whether my returned waybill has light up on FedEx tracking, but nothing as yet. I will update again on my status once I see change. I will guess that the waybill should light up sometime this week (hopefully earlier, rather than later).

Cheers,

Ryan

You are right Canadianinlove - no interview. That was my worst nightmare through this entire process.

I spent 6 months gathering, documenting, organizing, and putting together all the supporting documents. You know how much cuss' I get, OK maybe not cuss, but buffup'. As i've mentioned in the past, I did go overboard with the amount of documents - 2500 pages in total (800+Pages of Whatsapp conversations alone [the good{lovie dovie stuff}, the bad{arguements}, and the spicy {I eh explaining that}, chronologic order of events with tabs, each tab seperated by Finance, Letters, Receipts, Itinerary , Phots (hell I even included a plastic wristband from Hawaii resort, toll receipt, if it had anything to do with a trip to see her, it was included).

3 eFin binders! (3 or 4 inches each)
Honestly, the best art work I've ever done in my life.

At the end, I was not settling for a denial, OR interview. lol my thought process to this was, they have two choices...read through everything I sent (all 2500 pages), OR NOT and approve without delay. Well, with 5 months and already positive news, I guess we know which process they took. lol

Anyhow, yes a little celebration. I don't know what will happen once I see that returned waybill light up. My heart will drop! and Panic will settle in - OMG I OFFICIALLY have a wife! ohhh lawd! and she coming! ah go deadddd!

Honestly, It more a sign of relief! Not that she's coming and we are together, but she's no longer on egg shells, she can relax, enjoy life, go places, go to school, work and make decent money. That alone by itself, im sure will be a transition for her, different from what she went through being in the US (no status - for other who don't know).

You know, Im flabbergasted, how and what people must go through without status - more so in the US (not sure how it is for someone in Canada). I mean, I went through this same process, or similar in the 90s growing up in Toronto. But my Fams kept to ourselves, or at the very least, kept a tight circle of friends - no drama, or allowed it to happen. I think its different in the US, Its a lifestyle in the US. I personally know people who are in that same position, but don't do anything to get out of it. They begin to have kids, and hope that the kids will help them out (that 18yrs of waiting...). What annoys me more, is they get married, or live with another person who is in the SAME position as them. I mean do what you have to do to get that papas', don't sit and wait. Sitting and waiting will end up to be 10 years and no movement in life.

OK so this is turning into a rant! Im sorry!

In the US I've seen/heard about the deceit from strangers, friends, and HELL what pizzes me off more is that some of the culprits are Family!. This woman and her family has been through a lot, not her alone, others like them. Im so happy to bring her here, and start a life away from all of that. The best part of it all, is seeing all of the other who mistreated her will be pizzed that she's moved on, will do better, and enjoy life. What brings joy to me, is she will be happy - she won't be in that bs anymore.
[/end_rant]

I digress!
Sorry to take you on a personal journey!

I end this on a positive note...its Tuesday...and we know what happens on Tuesday.
{NO! its not Toonie chicken at KFC
Its Tuesday, Its Tuesday, Come on Friends get on eCAS its TUESDAY!, its TUESDAY
Get up...StandUp! StandUp and Call your Lawyer!!!

Cheers

Ryan

PS: I really don't know how I will react once I see the waybill lights up. Just thinking about it, is making my heart race!
