Hey guys I got an update, tell me what you guys think. This is my timeline online.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 15, 2015.

2. We started processing your application on August 17, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. We sent you correspondence on January 28, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

5.We sent you correspondence on January 28, 2016 about the decision on your application.

Just wanted to know am I getting a letter or my husband?

I don't think there will be any snags... been together 4 years... married for almost 1... he has never left Guyana and I would like to think I am a good Canadian ... so I will try and be patient for the next three months lol ... no interview I pray!

Yes I called them. They told me they can't give me any information . I also email and they just said that my husband should receive a letter in the mail.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Decision has been made and i emailed office last night and they got back to me this morning stating that the letter has been mailed. Im not sure how long the transit time is as Usually we get emailed. Does anyone know if we will be both getting the decision or only my husband so much anxiety with this waiting game.

Hey were in the same boat. My husband and I are waiting for a letter as well. I calied cic and they told me he will receive the letter but they can't tell me what the decision is. Maybe we both will get ppr at the same time. Good luck and keep the faith.

Hey you guys, I have a question. How can I update my mailing address through my VO? I want all my mail to go to my friends house as he has a private mailbox. My mail at my current address is not secure and I wouldn't want any mishaps with correspondence from cic. Do I even have to worry about that? We did provide them with emails for my wife and I. They have not sent us aor2 at my email, though.... When do they usually use mail or will everything come through email?

@tdguy I don't think you have to worry to much about mail until you get a decision made. I provided my email and received everything by email except the decision made part (currently waiting for the through mail now).

What you can do just to be sure everything is updated is email pos through there case specific section (sorry I don't know how to attach the website). When you email them, they will update it for u.

I spend so much time on the November 2015 thread that I forget to update this one....

But we received our AOR2 yesterday. I was able to log into my husband's ECAS last night.

I found it was just a duplication of the information already found in mine, except, it had his address listed.

This morning when I checked my ECAS under my husband's info we have a three lines...

We received xxxxxxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on November 3, 2015.
We started processing xxxxxxxxxxx's application on February 2, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

I feel like now we are really playing the waiting game... No more updates until they get to the decision making stages.

When you get the AOR2, or your own UCI number, you have the option to log in with your own information, and can update your address for yourself through ECAS.

Perhaps your wife can call CIC and see if she can get your UCI number so that you can log in and change it yourself.

You can also send a case specific enquiry ...

I feel you both will receive good news in the coming days. Don't let CIC steal your joy by worrying over it. This forum alone provides so much proof of their inconsistencies with processing applications. Everyone has a unique and different experience with them... I am glad that you both have a decision made. The wait is almost over, so stay in faith!
