I noticed alot of people last year got processed in less than 6 months etc that really good. Im hoping wifey and I get it quickly as well, I hope age difference isnt a huge deal that they have to slow down ours. All the best to those of you who are waiting ! PPR next week fingers crossed....

I am sure you will get your approval before the summer rolls around... my friend applied in 2014 and got through in 6 months... I met someone on a flight to Guyana, got through in 4 months...

I saw from the November thread they have already started processing your file... good luck and speedy processing ... try and stop worrying about the interview... tell yourself you aren't going to have one... if you keep fretting over the interview you might end getting one...

After my file was transferred,;it took 5 months to hear from them and I got an interview. But I was updatING them on my pregnancy so maybe that's why it took so long.

Hi everyone, it's been a little more than a week CIC received my updated Certificate of Clearance as they requested, I was hoping to get an email today updating me on the next step in this process, not sure what else they could ask for now. Hope next week brings better luck. Have a great weekend all. :D

Thanks for the info!!

The Visa Office is not that polite. It is unusual to get an acknowledgement of additional documentation received.
Hopefully your next communication will be for your passport!
:) :)

After I got SA I didn't hear anything until 120 days later (4 months). It was an invite for an interview.
Typically if there are no snags with your file you should hear within 3 months and it should be for passport request.

I don't think there will be any snags... been together 4 years... married for almost 1... he has never left Guyana and I would like to think I am a good Canadian ... so I will try and be patient for the next three months lol ... no interview I pray!
