what i seen a trend is that all lot of times pos only update they online status every tuesday and alot of times they already sent back passport put still says in process not decsion made

our online status change to decision made, I think a week after we got the passport back. they have no order! like you said this process is hard, just keep praying and don't give up ,will make your marriage stronger!

i dont know why pos taking so long to send back my wife passport these process can break couples up waiting and waiting ppl get fed up and give up
I mean 8 weeks they had hubby PP for.

Thanks Guyanese24 am still being faithful and waiting just miss my damn wife and daughter so much its been since may 30 2014 i last seen them just did not go back yet trying to save up to prepare for them now am ready just waiting to get passport to book flights hey Guyanese 24 do u know once they send back passport did they send any other paper to state what to bring with you and so once u book flight and come to canada like any document you will need just did they send any paper with passpart that you should take with you once you come to canada

They send 2 copies of the COPR ( Confirmation of permanent residency ) the one with the picture you give to immigration at the airport and the one without your wife keep . they also send general info about Canada.

Does anyone know when we book our spouse's flight ticket to come to Canada, if they can fly through U.S.A. from the Caribbean into Canada or can they only fly direct into Canada?

When flying from West Coast Canada I find majority of the flights connect through the U.S. to get to the Caribbean and back.

As long as they have a valid US visitors visa to fly through the USA then it is fine.

pos rcvd my wife and daughter passport since january 27 2015 this friday will be one damn month still no response i check online status says in process i think they maybe lil delay since they was off on hoilday on feb 16 and 17 2015 for tnt carnival damn taking so long checked tracking number not found i dont know why these ppl so damn slow do you thing good idea i send them email asking for update

An alternative route would be to book a flight for your husband to trinidad and then he can take a direct flight from trinidad to toronto

today makes damn one month pos has my wife and daughter passport still no decsion still saying in process they so damn slow they getting everything and still they digging try find some thing i dont know am goin to send them email asking the the hell is going on why else they waiting for cause my life on hold waiting for them to make decsion they ask passport request we send it now one month they so stupid what they do is if you send passport and they missing info they just send back they dont even send you letter or email letting what is missing so you can do that part and send it to them this is second time i send passport to them first time they send back saying they need more info from guayan court that my daughter can leave guyana they should of ask for all of that before requesting passport am goin to send email ask them what they want and waiting for apply since june 2014

I feel your frustration, they had my hubby passport for 8 weeks, I email them when it was 4 weeks and they reply with a generic answer. I also reach out to my MP and she told me they can keep the passport for 12 weeks, and should it go beyond 12 weeks then she will get involve. trust me its hard but it will all be worth it!!!!! my hubby is landing Next Saturday ... you will have them home soon

Hey everyone, I am back. My last account had to be deleted due to email being hacked and I had to reset everything. Last time I was here, I was sent info for my final stage. Request was made for police certificates and FBI clearance since I lived in the US for sometime and passport. I sent everything in except my FBI clearance, it takes 14-16 weeks to get and I am in week 14 already and still waiting. Bad thing is POS said send everything in and I can send fbi report after, so I don't have my passport and my anniversary is coming. I can't travel to meet my wife we have great plans, but seems she will have to be the one to take time off and meet me for our anniversary. For now I am tracking two things, my FBI report to get to me and my passport to get to me. I really hope I can get this done before my anniversary, did I mention is end of March.
