So.... here it is!!!

Hubby is on his way to Canada! ;)

I did not come on here (that took a lot of restraint) to make any announcements due to my skepticism with this whole process after what we went through the first time... BUT.. after only 75 days of sending in our SECOND application, hubby got PPR. We sent in our passport and have it back with his new visa inside. On our way to Canada together now ;) xoxo

:P :P :P :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;)

MissD.... Congrats! After a long awaited 2+ years your hubby has finally arrived in Canada! I couldn't be more excited for both of you. Enjoy the rest of forever together. Congrats!

PS: We still expect a landing story... Don't keep that one a secret!

Hi all...Congrats to you and all here who are their way
My son is gonna be here come july as well. Check the fedex pack and his copr is on its way back to him....

Congrats Bajan! Amazing news and POS is moving fast these days!

MissD! I totally called it, I knew they'd put you through fast given they're comments to you at the end of your first process. But I know it is easy for me to say that, but I knew they would! I knew it I knew it I knew it! I teared up a little when I read this but it was quickly replaced by laughter at your sneakiness... and an epic fist pump! I'm soooo happy for you guys, you've gone through so much and you just really deserve this. And it is just in time for the holidays! I'm so excited for you. Keep us posted on the landing story.... as behopeful said, that can't be a suprise :)

I need some advise, u submitted an inland application but it was sent to trinidad I called to find our about the mistake immigration said I have 2 options either keep writing pos to send it back or withdraw and send it in again. I sent a withdrawal letter to missagua with the reason why we re withdrawing. I got a call couple days later from an office in missausaga saying it's a waste of time to withdraw, there will be no interview so I don't need to travel because I'm out of status.she said I'll use have to land at any Canadian border. Now pos is requesting my passport and a photocopy of my valid status in Canada or proof that I left canada. Wtf should I do ? Is I did send a letter saying that an officer called me asking me not to withdraw. Can anyone shead some light on this ?

This happened to someone on the Kingston thread...they needed to go back to JA to submit their passport and show that they did indeed leave Canada.

Hi Everyone! I'm finally back with a landing story! Hubby landed Friday night and of course his flight was delayed but I was tracking the flight (obviously!) and so i arrived at the airport with a few minutes to spare until his flight landed. It was pretty emotional watching all of the reunions, oddly enough it was the grandparent grandchild reunions that were the most emotional for me--that is a special kind of relationship to cherish if you can. I did end up waiting for about an hour in total after the plane landed but for half of this hubby was still on the runway. His time coming through customs and immigration wasn't bad... about 30 minutes total and his meeting with the immigration was only 10 minutes or so and he could not believe how nice they were. He was concerned that it was called an "interview" and so he had a bit of anxiety about that but all he could say was how nice they are. I knew the time was getting close and that he'd be walking through those doors and then suddenly there he was... ALL MINE and not just for a two week vacation! All of the pain of the past couple of years just slipped away! I promise you it feels like that. We spent the weekend running around and doing errands and yes, reality starts to move in as you try to get settled and find your way as a couple but I promise it is nothing compared to the agony of being apart.

Thanks for waiting for my landing story everyone, I know I took my time with it!

Can-Vinc.....CONGRATULATIONS!!! sorry about the delayed response but I am not on here often anymore. So happy that your hubby finally made it back. ;D I think you and your man unfortunately had the longest wait for anyone from the POS office, even to hear back from your interview. So happy it is all over and you are both together again. Thank you Jesus and many blessings on your marriage and future together. Today is actually Mr. C&T's one year anniversary since landing :P. Take care my girl.

Miss Dr. D.!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY :D.......so SO happy for you and hubby, it is finally over and your lives can be unburdened of this stress. I think I speak for many on this forum who have been tracking your progress and all of the ups and downs and I am grateful that POS had the wherewithal to fast track your second application. What a story of perseverance. Boy will you two have a good story for the kids and grandkids :P. In the meantime we will look forward to another happy landing story. Many blessings for your marriage and future together my dear. xo :-* As mentioned to Can-Vinc as well, today is my hubby's one year anniversary date of landing. We've survived and thrived! :)
