Quick question guys:
POS requested FBI Clearance within 90 days but passport within 60. How does this work? Do I send them separately? Especially since FBI website says it takes up to 12 weeks to receive verification.

Good Morning POS! Congrats to those that have had PPR and others that have their shiny visas back! Hoping that POS keeps moving and reunites as many families as possible together before the holidays.

Congrats Lonelygirl! You will no longer be Lonelygirl.. Lol

Question:
When you sent your passport, did you use dhl or fedex?
Do they do prepaid envelopes so pos can return your passport?
Did you encounter any problems?
Thank you

. Thank you faith, lol I guess I'm not.Ticket is booked and husbands even coming to get me so well be going back to canada together.Im just a little nervous about how our little girls gonna handle the cold, lol.I sent it out through FedEx and I didn't have any problems,I got it back on the 3rd day.Just went in paid to send it out and for the return and yea I used the tracking number so I knew where it was and when they got it.yes they do prepaid so you get two fedex papers with two different tracking numbers which you include in your documents when sending out

Whew! I've been gone for so long, I think I'm like a newbie all over again...Haven't read the 50-some pages I missed, but major congrats to everyone who's been approved or is on the way to that! I see a couple landing stories are due soon, looking forward to reading those. I continue to hope and pray for everyone going through the process, I've totally been here in spirit even though I was AWOL. Who knew that mat leave was busier than work? :D

Hopefully I can be on more regularly now...

Hi One Love,
I can't speak to this as we didn't have to use this process. But I would say if you rec'd them in time to send together, you can... but if you're getting closer to the 60 days and you still don't have the FBI clearance, then I would send the passport and a reciept that you've requested the FBI clearance or something like that. Cover letters help too to just explain where you're at with everything.

If they are requesting the passport, then that means you've been given approval in principle (i.e. you're approved assuming there's nothing damaging in the FBI report). If you are able to send in the passport now (with the knowledge you may be without it for a couple months), then send it in along with proof that you've requested the FBI report and a cover letter to that effect. When the report comes in, forward it to them (preferably via a service providing delivery confirmation and make sure to include the file number) and send a CSE marked "urgent" to POS letting them know it's been delivered to their office (provide a tracking no. if you can), so they can be on the lookout for it.

Good luck :)

*waves* Hey CV, we're doing great! Baby girl is 10 months old now, she's a fun little person :) Husband's settled in and life is pretty normal (good stable normal, not boring normal lol)

I see you finally reached the end of this process, major congrats!!!! How are things on your end?

Hi Zouk, Things are really good, we've settled in quite nicely.. hubby was fortunate enough to go back to his old place of work pretty quickly, so that has been a huge help. It is just amazing how fast the pain of the process goes away. Of course you never really forget about it, and there still that little bit of fear (can something go wrong?), but overall it has been great. Glad to hear your fam jam is good normal :)

ZOUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's kind of appropriate you are back!

I have news...I've been keeping a secret! ;)

So.... here it is!!!

Hubby is on his way to Canada! ;)

I did not come on here (that took a lot of restraint) to make any announcements due to my skepticism with this whole process after what we went through the first time... BUT.. after only 75 days of sending in our SECOND application, hubby got PPR. We sent in our passport and have it back with his new visa inside. On our way to Canada together now ;) xoxo

:P :P :P :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;)
