Hey guys so my Ecas changed to In Process does that mean my interview has been waived ?? Should I pay my PR fee now before they request it ? Is this a good thing ??

I have a few questions on outland spousal sponsorship. I am from saint lucia. My husband and I got married in June(in saint lucia). he recently obtained his PR in February. We are now in the process of putting in an application for Spousal Sponsorship. NOTE: i applied for canadian visa 2 years ago and it was denied. what is the best way to go about spousal application and will the fact that i was once denied visitors visa affect this application???

@Mox 1989 From my friends that has experienced this it would not affect your application but you will definitely be called in for an interview . Good luck on your application

congratulations on your application moving to in process. This is usually confirmation that your ppr will be announced shortly. Also this is usually a good sign that your interview is waived. Yes, if I were you I would definitely pay the RPRF as soon as possible.

Thanks for your help at smokijoe ... I don't want to get too excited because a lot of people said that theirs went to in process and they are still waiting but it's still one step closer to the finish line so I'm good with that !!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH PMARSHAL

Heyy.

I'm getting confused. When sending back the passport is it going to be the same tracking number that we used when sending it to POS??
Sorry, for all the questions.

Have you heard anything as yet? ItsMePrincess?

we are still waiting. I don't know what is taking them so long. They got the passport since June 2. We are now in the middle of July.

I'm thinking about calling them. They have my passport since May and we are not in July and I have exams that I have to travel to take.

YOU SHOULD CALL THEM. THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Definitely get in touch with them, perhaps even through your MP, if you have a helpful one. I've heard of up to 4 weeks for a PP return but not that long.

Where has everybody gone? I know it is summer and all :)

Seriously. Finishing up preparing hubbies application to send out and just wondering who I'm going to talk to about all the wait times and stress! lol I was surprised to see our page on page 1 of the website today... glad you made a comment, I was beginning to think it was wayyy to quiet.

POS needs to shake things up and get us talkin (in a GOOD way, mind you).

Still here MissD! Get cracking and get that app in :) just teasing, of course, we all know how much work it takes and it is best to take your time and do it right and leave no question in their petty brains.

Hi everyone..just checking catching up on all that's going on...smokiejoe glad to see you're still around. It's been a year for me here in Montreal. .doing school and trying to get everything settled with work. I sent off my immigration papers to sponsor my son. Tried to get in before the August 1st deadline hits. I tracked my package and it should be at cpc today. Hopefully they clear that po box before month end. Congrats to everyone who have received their PR and for the ones still waiting keep the faith.
