KADI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations - I'm so happy for you!

We sent an inquiry yesterday so as you say, hopefully this is the final haul... we're around 15 months so yea, it is time :)

Hey guys and New members welcome welcome welcome!!! Seems like everyone is doing fine so far ;) I am still waiting on a response from POS that they received our file for the requested documents they asked for; been a month now and still nothing. Im still keeping the faith though especially with this ARC business so I will definately keep you all updated with everything :-*

Hey I was wondering, the fingerprints you outlined in your timeline you guys had to do was that the RCMP one?

Hey Brit, they didn't say in the request that it was for RCMP but we assume it was based on what we have read on here! I'm not sure why else they would be asking for them.

Hi everyone, we got stage two AOR from POS today. I also notice a different there is a different UCI # and its addressed to me. What to expect now? I know I shouldn't be asking this question but somehow I'm at a complete loss at each stage since I started this process.

Congratulations MissMaple, Ronstar, and Kadi27!!!!!!

Welcome back MissD!

Hope I didn't miss anyone....

Hi guys sobmy interview was a success but it was an intense one. I went in process on may 5 but while I was at the interview she asked me to redo the rcmp because the one I sent in is expired. Got expired last months urgh. So I know there a digital was to do it because I heard louisfam testing she received it in 6 weeks but louisfam is Mia . Can anyone guide me please

Hey all, so our file has been in since October, and in POS since Dec 7th. I emailed a few weeks ago just to enquire about what was going on, I got a reply today saying based on my husbands file it was determined that an interview is required (not surprised). Just wondering how long it takes to get an interview now and also will I have to do one aswell?

They also havnt asked about his criminal record check from Grenada which we didnt include in our application.

Did you check E-Cas, maybe your status changed to In-Process if POS sent you an AOR.

Hey MizzDanish; sorry you have to go through the interview process but its not a negative turn it into a positive and try to get through it ;)

Hubby will be home soon :); I dont think you will be interviewed but usually the embassy asks that you make yourself available during the interview time in case they want to speak to you or ask you questions to validate your husband's responses I guess.

I have seen members on here travel to Trinidad during their spouses interview; you can consider this if you have that option.

As for the PC from Grenada I would suggest you get it; once an applicant has lived in a country for 6months or more its usually required. Get it now so that it doesnt hold back your file in the long run

Yeah I was thinking to maybe fly down and be there for when he has to go for his interview but 6 hours on a plane with a year old is hectic!! lol We just came back from Grenada so I really dont think I can take any more time off :(

Also how long does it usualy take for them to give us an interview date? The email says were in queue now.

Totally understand; I have a little one myself and travelling is not easy. Not too sure how long they take to give a date I have seen persons in New Dehli forum wait on average a couple months but POS has been working pretty fast so hopefully it doesnt take long. A few persons here waited a while for interview dates but that was during the strike so maybe that would not be good comparisons.

All the best; I would say give it a month and if you dont hear anything give them a friendly nudge via email
