Morning Everyone!

So I got an email from POS this morning.

Saying our application has reached the final stage of processing that we need to do
- Pay Permanent Residence Fee - Already Doneee
- requesting hubby passport and picture with a prepaid envelope back to him.

However when I check ECAS it still just says application received, medicals received.

But im screaming :D
Hey KIAB congrats again girl!! U must be super excited ;) But I realise ur ecas status never changed either from app received/meds received just like mine but its in process on their end for us tho since i called them today. Well i pray to God we will soon hear some amazing news as well.

Also, your Unique Client ID never changes so if the applicant has previously had a file with CIC the number remains the same and can log in with that number. For example, my hubby came on a work permit initially, overstayed, went back home and we applied for PR and we were able to log on with his original number.

We didn't get AOR from POS until 5 months when I emailed to ask them if file was received. AOR is generally less than 3 months, BUT not everyone gets an AOR either.
Okkkkkkkkk i get u now because i was sponsored for by my grandmother like 4 years ago who initially adopted me at first because my client id number is still the same which is what they gave back to me from CIC plus my citizenship is coming through which i have to go do my test in the new year.

Well im still at the fresh stage of everything but i guess the good part is that my status has changed to in process so lets see... Lol I WANT MY MAN DAMMIT!

My ecss or hubbys I should say did changed. We went into process according to ecas on nov 25
And hubby recieved his POS AOR (dated Nov 18) and PPR on Nov 27. Our Ecas actually didn't update until Nov 29 though.

Hi guys, How is everyone?

Hubby is settling well. We started his bank account with the Scotiabank newcomers package and it included credit card to start building his credit.
We are searching for a job for him at the moment.

Hi FAD, nice to hear things are going well :D. Interesting about the banking info. I am with RBC and so is hubby in Trinidad, not that the 2 systems work together!! I will see what RBC can offer (in Canada) to match or beat Scotia. Millslu is offering "best buy" jobs :P.......what kind of job is your hubby looking for? Blessings.

Can't wait for your landing story!

I was also considering RBC but decided on Scotia.
Hubby is a Carpenter. So we are looking for that. He has gotten a few calls but they are all asking for own transportation!

And that just shows u like I said their ecas system is slow bcus when it gets to decision made its either they approve u (PPR) or reject u but they already mailed u for his passport so ignore what the ecas Its slow. Mine still says App received meds received andCIC said when I called them that it changed to In process now on their end.

Most people on this forum will see their ECAS change to DM and the passport is sent out for return within a few days. I would start tracking your DHL (or whatever return envelope service you used) in the next few days. Our ECAS changed to DM and hubby picked up his PP at the embassy a few days later because he is from Trinidad. So basically, DM means they are done with everything and VISA has been issued and will be returned. It's very unlikely you will get a call or anything from them unless you are picking up PP. Contact is just simply receiving your PP with VISA and COPR.
Congrats again KIAB!!

hey everyone..back again i saw everything good for some and bad for other...about me still waiting trini take a decision. cross my fingers ;) bless everyone
